About the Festival


The Chappel Beer Festival is one of the best CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) beer festivals in the country. It has become one of the best festivals because of its beautiful location.

The festival is located at the East Anglian Railway Museum and provides a quiet and pretty location. There is a regular train service to the nearest station and Greater Anglia also provide an extra late train to make sure everyone gets home from the festival safely.

The festival has a great selection of beers for visitors to sample and enjoy. There is also lots of delicious food on offer from a range of local caterers, and the festival usually has live music and entertainment for guests to enjoy. **

We don't charge admission for people under 18, but an adult must accompany anyone under 18. All young children must be supervised at all times.

Yes, on a Tuesday and Wednesday only. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday require a ticket to be purchased before arrival.

There will be hot and cold food available from local catering companies. Further details will be supplied nearer the time.

Dogs are allowed into the festival providing they are kept on a lead and under control at all times.

There is a large free parking area in front of Chappel & Wakes Colne station. The car park is unsupervised and vehicles and contents are left at the owner's risk.

Currently, we won't be able to offer camping. This may change nearer to the event, so please check back.
